For many business travelers, modern intercity trains are a well-established alternative to the plane and passengers are increasingly using the train as a mobile office. Modern T-Systems information and communications technology (ICT) will make working on the train even more convenient in the future by wirelessly connecting train passengers to the Internet.

Deutsche Bahn and T-Mobile Deutschland in collaboration with T-Systems have already equipped several ICE trains with modern wireless technology during a pilot phase. T-Systems developed the system architecture for Railnet, which allows for a stable and efficient connection of high-speed trains.
